Due to continued growth there is now a requirement for a Channel Manager / Dealer Manager / Business Manager. You will be working in partnership with a major manufacturer of a leading telecommunications brand to support existing telecoms resellers and to recruit new resellers in order to grow sales. The ideal candidate will come from a commercial background with experience of selling business phone systems (e.g Panasonic, Avaya IP Office, Samsung, Mitel, Toshiba or similar etc ) in a dealer management role and have management experience. This is a key role in an existing successful team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major player in a key position. Living location Manchester, North West. The ideal background is a proven track record selling telecoms systems either to the channel.Benefits: Basic salary upto 40K + OTE 20K + Car allowance + package. JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE BUSINESS MANAGER LINE MANAGER: SYSTEM SALES DIRECTOR PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To manage a specific vendor business unit offering sales development and support, pre-sales consultancy and design, technical support, sales/technical training, marketing and financial services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the relevant business unit including all internal and external resources Manage, maintain and develop the vendor relationships. Manage and develop all business and sales functions relevant to the business unit Increase sales of vendor products and services through all existing dealers/resellers. Maintain channel development through new reseller acquisition. Maintain the development of account plans for all managed accounts. Stimulate market growth for vendor proposition Develop business growth through pro-active marketing and sales initiatives. Achieve all agreed revenue/profit and activity targets Report on performance and account activity. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services (training given). Organise and assist with customer demonstrations/presentations and training. Use all relevant company processes to ensure the effective management and development of staff. Any other duties as necessary for the role. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALITIES: Excellent communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite. Results driven. Business focused. QUALIFICATIONS / RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Essential Minimum 2 years experience of telephone system sales. A successful record in sales management and development. Experience of converged systems and IP technology.
Desirable Dealer sales / channel development skills.
