Experience: LAN / WAN / Switching / Microsoft Windows / Server
Benefits: £22,000 - £26,000 depending on experience.
Our client is a dynamic and growing company technology. Due to continued expansion they are now seeking an IT Support Engineer to be based from their Bury office.
*Switching/Routing/Firewalls (Draytek, SonicWall)
*Microsoft Windows Server
*Microsoft Windows and Office
*Microsoft Office 365
*Basic Telephony Knowledge including SIP
*Eagerness to learn different technologies
*Experience of working with ticketing or work allocation systems is desirable, but not essential
*Exposure to cloud based telephone systems would be advantageous
You will be enthusiastic and have at least 2 years' experience of a customer facing role. You will have a professional appropriate telephone manner, and can effectively communicate with a wide variety of people. You will have experience of working under pressure, and as part of a team in a busy growing office. You can work under your own initiative, and can work to deadlines. You have experience of dealing with customers at all levels and are confident dealing with complaint calls, and helping to resolve customer issues as appropriate.
You will have good experience of working with Microsoft Office packages including; Outlook, Word and Excel. You will have good business letter writing skills, and can compose and send professional emails to customers and other organisations. To be able to work with spreadsheets and compile data and present in suitable format for review.
